MOSCOW, October 24./ TASS/. The State Duma has passed a bill on Friday that bans propaganda, demonstration, production or sale of symbols of organzations which either collaborated with Nazis or did not recognize the resolutions of the Nuremberg military tribunal.

Violation of the bill fetches punishment in the form of fines or administrative arrest for physical entities and heavy fines worth up to $2,500 for juridical entities. The bill envisages confiscation of objects used for propaganda of the banned symbols.

Duma Vice-speaker Sergei Zheleznyak, who is the author of the bill, said that "our task is to become a center of anti-fascist movement which should give a strong rebuff to revanchist forces, supporters of neo-Nazism and radical nationalism who are raising their heads not only in Ukraine.
