ORENBURG, October 24. /TASS/. The Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare Oversight inspections will not create problems for McDonald’s operations in Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told reporters on Friday.
“I am sure the company will not face any significant problems and will continue successful operations on the market,” he said. “Russia’s McDonald’s is a Russian company, which uses products almost all of which are produced in Russia.”
In August, the service launched full-scale inspections of the company’s regional outlets and halted operations of its 200 fast food outlets. McDonald’s net profit totaled $5.6 billion and revenue stood at $28.1 billion in 2014, according to the data.
