MOSCOW, October 23. /TASS/. Medical tests show that four staff members of Moscow’s Vnukovo-3 airport detained in connection with the Falcon jet crash were sober, the official spokesman of Russia’s Investigative Committee said on Thursday.

“I want to point out that preliminary exam found no signs of alcoholic intoxication, however a test was carried out to finally confirm their state during the work,” spokesman Vladimir Markin said.

The detained people are chief engineer of the airport’s service Vladimir Ledenev, who was in charge of snow-clearing works at the time of the incident, flights director Roman Dunayev, intern air traffic controller Svetlana Krivsun and airport’s chief air traffic controller Alexander Kruglov, who was in charge of the air traffic at the time of the tragic crash.

The men are suspected of failing to comply with the rules of flight safety and works on the ground at the airport what resulted in the tragedy. The suspects have been questioned as suspects.

Vladimir Markin said the level of alcohol found in the blood of the main suspect, Vladimir Martynenko, was 0,6 per mille.
