MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. Sales of sweatshirts featuring the portrait of the Russian president were launched on Monday at the GUM Department Store, just a stone’s throw from the Kremlin.

The sweatshirts were designed by the youth brand Anyavanya within the framework of the project Vsyo Putyom (Everything’s OK). Designers Anna Yefremova and Ivan Yershov plan to sell about 3,000 such sweatshirts.

This is the third stage of sales of the Vsyo Putyom project collections dedicated to Russia’s recent victories on the global arena. The project started on June 12 with the sales of “presidential T-shirts.” The GUM donated proceeds from the sales to sponsor medical care to a boy from east Ukraine’s Sloviansk, Zhenya Yezikyan. The second stage was launched on August 11.

“Now, we have added four more prints portraying Putin as an ice hockey player, Putin fishing, and Putin holding an Amur tiger cub in his hands,” Ivan Yershov told TASS. He said on sale were 3,000 sweatshirts and 3,000 T-shirts. In all, “there are 19 prints, here we have 12,” he added.

Sweatshirts and T-shirts were manufactured in Russia. Sweatshirt are priced at 2,900 rubles ($73), and T-shirts — at slightly more than 1,000 rubles (approximately $25). Money from the sales will be transferred to charity foundations.

According to organizers, about 4,000 such T-shirts were sold over the first stage of the projects, and 8,000 — during the second stage. However, they did not disclose their future plans.

When asked by journalists whether they planned to send a “presidential” sweatshirt to Putin, Yershov said smiling, “We do not know his address.”

The action at the GUM Department Store will take place for three days to be over on October 8.
