Asked to comment on media reports on Ukraine's former president Viktor Yanukovych being granted Russian citizenship, Dmitry Peskov said he hasn't got such information
NOVO-OGARYOVO, October 3. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday he has no information that former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovich was granted Russian citizenship.
Asked to comment on media reports on Ukraine's former president Viktor Yanukovych being granted Russian citizenship, Peskov said he hasn't got such information.
Peskov stressed, that he hasn't seen such a decree.
Earlier, there were media reports citing a Facebook post of the aide to the Ukrainian Interior Minister, Anton Gerashchenko, which ran that Yanukovych had allegedly received Russian citizenship.
