No talks on the concrete project have started yet

MOSCOW, September 22. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and Belarus are considering a possibility of introducing a common entry visa, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

“This issue is being discussed by Moscow and Minsk although no talks on the concrete project have started yet,” the ministry said.

“With an absence of border control it is quite logical to introduce a common entry visa. But neither Russia nor Belarus seek to step up preparations for a bilateral document: the provisions of the future agreement should be clear so that its implementation do not create problems to law abiding travellers,” the ministry said.

“In addition, expenses should be estimated to form a common visa space,” it said.
