PARIS, September 15. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia has put forward a proposal to launch at the UN Security Council the complex discussion of the issues of combating terrorism in the Middle East and North Africa, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on the sidelines of an international conference on Iraq on Monday.
“We called for the beginning at the UN Security Council of a detailed, deep analysis of the situation. Many of my colleagues, including from Arab countries, also said the problem of terrorism should be considered comprehensively, taking into account all the factors without exception that influence its aggravation, including the financial and arms flows,” Lavrov said.
