Areas, where investment projects are implemented, innovation clusters or special economic zones are formed and developed, will be regarded as territories for priority attraction of labour resources

MOSCOW, September 15. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's government has considered and approved bills aimed at stimulating inland migration of labour resources to territories which lack a natural migration attractiveness and experience a shortage of labour force. Respective documents have been placed on the Cabinet's official website on Monday.

An elucidative report of the government points out, "With a view to creating attractive conditions for a relocation of citizens, support is supposed to be given to them, including compensatory and other payments".

A list of support measures, which are to be taken by a specific employer with regard to citizens who migrate in search of employment, will be determined individually on the strength of a basic regional list of support measures. It will be sealed in an appropriate agreement between a constituent entity of the Russian Federation and an employer.

Areas, where significant investment projects are implemented, innovation clusters or special economic zones are formed and developed, will be regarded as territories for priority attraction of labour resources, along with those that are strategically important to the country.
