MOSCOW, September 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Lawyers defending Eston Kohver, an officer of the Estonian security police who was arrested in Russia last week on charges of espionage, will meet with the man September 15 in a Moscow detention center where he is kept, lawyer Mark Feigin said.

“The investigator give permission to study the case to me and authorized by visits to the convict,” he said. “I’ll see Kohver in the Lefortovo pretrial center on Monday”.

The Estonian security police officer was arrested by Russian FSB agents on the territory of the Pskov region on September 5.

On September 5 the Federal Security Service cut short a reconnaissance operation conducted by the security police department of the Interior Ministry of Estonia. Estonian citizen Eston Kokhver, who proved to be an employee of the Tartu security police department of the Estonian Interior Ministry, was detained on the Russian territory.
