Russia, Belarus working to launch joint visas

Russia and Belarus are currently working to create an analogue to the Schengen visa

NIZHNI NOVGOROD, September 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow and Minsk are considering the launch of joint visas for the citizens of the Russia-Belarus Union State, the union's secretary general, Grigory Rapota, said on Wednesday.

Rapota said that "both countries have their national visa policy and visa services and issue only national visas that creates inconveniences for business and tourism."

He added that Russia and Belarus are currently working to create an analogue to the Schengen visa.
