“We need peace in Ukraine and we need all those living there to leave under a peaceful sky,” Dmitry Medvedev said

MOSCOW, September 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia hopes that “the fragile balance,” which recently settled in Ukraine, would be maintained and would do everything it can to assist in peace establishment in the neighboring country, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday.

“We need peace in Ukraine and we need all those living there to live under a peaceful sky,” Medvedev said. “This is the most important and in order to achieve this task our country will do everything it can.”

“We dearly hope that the fragile balance, which has been achieved, would be preserved. This is not our conflict but we must do everything possible to return peace to Ukraine,” the Russian premier said.

“Kiev must listen to all reasons and arguments and must not be shy to make contacts with the southeast,” Medvedev said. “This is an interior Ukrainian conflict and it must not be spread out beyond the Ukrainian borders.”
