Medvedev said that the government will protect Russian companies, regardless state-run or private, facing unfair treatment by foreign countries
GORKI, Moscow Region, September 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian gas producer Novatek included in several countries’ sanction lists over the geopolitical crisis in Ukraine, will not change the production plans, CEO Leonid Mikhelson said at a meeting with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday.
“We proceed with everything in accordance with the schedule, and the fact that we are in a sanction list will not stop us, will not make us adjust our plans,” Mikhelson said.
Medvedev said that the government will protect Russian companies, regardless state-run or private, facing unfair treatment by foreign countries. Sanctions imposed on Russia are unjustified, the prime minister said.
