MOSCOW, September 08. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Senegal’s Ambassador to Russia Mamadu Saliu Diouf spoke about a bilateral political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation at their meeting in Moscow on Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

“[Lavrov and the ambassador] stressed the importance of further multi-layered cooperation between Russia and Senegal, including a deeper political dialogue and joint steps in promoting trade, investments, and economic, cultural and humanitarian ties,” the ministry said.

Russia’s Ambassador to Senegal and also to Gambia Sergei Kryukov took part in the meeting.
