Phase of military operations in Ukraine drawing to logical end — MP
MOSCOW, September 05. /ITAR-TASS/. Head of the Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexei Pushkov told Rossiya-24 television on Friday that "a phase of military operations in Ukraine is either drawing to a logical end or is logically over, possibly because the people are tired of the war."
Puhskov underlined that he "would assess the agreements reached in Minsk by the Contact Group for Ukraine, including a ceasefire declared in the south-east of Ukraine since Friday evening, in terms of how these agreements would be realized."
Pushkov reminded of earlier statements made by President Petro Poroshenko who had repeatedly declared readiness for a ceasefire, but air strikes in the cities continued, the MP said.
"Now, one has an impression that the agreements are serious indeed," Pushkov said.
