MOSCOW, August 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Another meeting with Petro Poroshenko is not planned in the working schedule of Russian President Vladimir Putin so far, the Russian president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.
Putin plans to visit the Russian youth forum Seliger in the Tver region, Peskov told the Russian News Service.
The Russian and Ukrainian presidents met in Minsk on the night to August 27 after consultations between the Customs Union (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan), Ukraine and the EU. The talks, the first between the two leaders, lasted for about two hours behind closed doors.
Previously, Putin and Poroshenko met in Normandy in June this year, but it was a brief talk with the participation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande. The two presidents also had telephone talks.
After the meeting in Minsk, Putin told the press that they had discussed the whole range of issues of Russian-Ukrainian relations, including economic cooperation, the situation in south-eastern Ukraine, the necessity for soonest ceasefire and political settlement of problems.
