MOSCOW, August 26. /ITAR-TASS/. A Moscow court ruled on Tuesday to satisfy a defamation lawsuit submitted by Igor Sechin, the head of Russian oil major Rosneft, against Russia’s leading business daily Vedomosti.

The Ostankinsky Court of Moscow agreed with the lawsuit that the article by Vedomosti’s journalist Kiril Kharatyan, which was published in the daily in mid-June, contained material discrediting Sechin’s reputation and dignity.

The lawsuit contained no demands for the financial compensations on behalf of the business daily.
