Court rules guilty verdict for Bolotnaya case suspects

MOSCOW, August 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky court on Monday passed a guilty verdict on four defendants in the criminal case over riots in Moscow's Bolotnaya Square.

Alexei Gaskarov was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison, Ilya Gushchin to 2.5 years, and Alexander Margolin to 3.5 years. The fourth defendant, Yelena Kokhtaryova, was given a suspended sentence.

The defendants were found guilty of violence against police officers and mass disturbances that occurred in Moscow's Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012.
