Russian Air Force Day is celebrated on August 12. This year the aerial warfare service branch of the Russian Armed Forces marks 102 years since its foundation. Festive events took place in the city of Lipetsk on Tuesday. Such aerobatic teams as Strizhi (Swifts), Russkiye Vityazi (Russian Knights) and Sokoly Rossii (Falcons of Russia) took part in an air show to mark the event.
