MOSCOW, August 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Construction of approach roads to the future bridge linking Crimea to the Krasnodar Region will start in August and will be financed by Russian Railways, Crimean Affairs Minister Oleg Savelyev told Rossiya 24 channel Tuesday.

“In fact, the construction of approaches will start in August at the expense of Russian Railways. We will face quite large costs and troubles while building the approaches to the bridge on the Krasnodar Region side,” Savelyev said.

The total investments in the bridge are planned at around 247 billion rubles ($6.8 billion). The launch is scheduled for December 2018.
