Money would be transferred to 40 Russian regions for basic needs of Ukrainian refugees and migrants accommodated at temporary centres
MOSCOW, August 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's government on Wednesday said it would provide more than 365 million roubles (over $10 million) for temporary accommodation of Ukrainian refugees in neighbouring Russian regions.
A resolution posted on the government's website said 365.9 million roubles would be transferred to 40 Russian regions for basic needs of Ukrainian refugees and migrants accommodated at temporary centres.
More than 111 million roubles (about $3 million) goes to Ukraine-bordering Rostov region. Neighbouring Voronezh region will receive about 43 million roubles (around $1.2 million) while 37 million roubles (about $1 million) goes to Belgorod region.
