MOSCOW, July 31. /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian Aerospace Defense Force will hold military drills in the Astrakhan Region in south Russia in August, using modern air defense systems, the Force’s spokesman, Colonel Alexei Zolotukhin said on Thursday.

“Overall, the tactical drills with combat firing at the Ashuluk range will involve about 800 personnel of the Aerospace Defense Force and over 200 pieces of combat and special hardware, such as S-300 Favorit, S-400 Triumf and Pantsir-S1 air defense systems,” the spokesman said.
