MOSCOW, July 28. /ITAR-TASS/. The present geopolitical situation has no impact on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Japan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday.

“The agreements on the Russian president’s visit to Japan remain in force,” he said.

“Our code of ethics says we should be polite. When an invitation is given, we consider it and accept,” Lavrov said.

“We accepted the invitation. The rest does not depend on us,” he added.
