Moscow finds it highly regrettable that the US continues moving further and further in fanning tensions in Russian-American relations

MOSCOW, July 25./ITAR-TASS/.Washington fully shares responsibility for bloodshed in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry.

“It is indisputable that it was the United States that backed an anti-constitutional coup in Kiev and then in essence pushed the regime that established there toward a violent punishment of the Russian-speaking population, which firmly demands that its legitimate rights be observed,” the ministry said in a statement.

“This is one more confirmation that Washington shares the responsibility for the bloodshed in full,” it said.

“We regret that the US is going further and further in inciting tensions in the Russian-American relations, while representatives of the Department of State are enthusiastically involved in anti-Russian propaganda. It is not the first time they act like this,” the ministry added.

Moscow finds it highly regrettable that the US continues moving further and further in fanning tensions in Russian-American relations and officials at the Department of State are enmeshed in anti-Russian propaganda, Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.

“In connection with a smear campaign unfolded against by the US Administration in the context of the Ukrainian crisis Moscow, we would like to say we firmly reject the public insinuations proliferated by the Deputy Spokesperson of the Department of State, Mary Harf,” the press release said.

“She has chopped a big basket of anti-Russian cliches for the news briefings of the past few days and Washington is stubbornly trying to superimpose them on the international community now,” the press release said.
