Over 600 Ukrainian refugees find shelter in Russian families

Over a month ago rescuers of the Volga Region emergency department put forth an initiative to help Ukrainian migrants

MOSCOW, July 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry have offered help for over 600 Ukrainian refugees, the ministry’s spokesman, Alexander Drobyshevsky, said on Thursday.

Over a month ago rescuers of the Volga Region emergency department put forth an initiative to help Ukrainian migrants.

“Workers of the Emergencies Ministry have accommodated over 600 refugees. There are 200 children among them,” Drobyshevsky said.

Over 50 people, including 13 children, from Sloviansk, Luhansk and Kramatorsk have found safe shelter in Sevastopol rescuers’ families, he said.
