Nineteen OSCE observers are expected to arrive in the Rostov region in early August

ROSTOV ON DON, July 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Rostov Region’s government official has said the OSCE Mission can deploy its headquarters in the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky due to the big flow of refugees.

“Nineteen OSCE observers are expected to arrive in the Rostov region in early August. Three of them are the mission’s leaders. Others are the mission’s staff. They will be on duty at the Donetsk and Gukovo checkpoints,” the government official told ITAR-TASS on Monday.

“Seven automobiles, including armored vehicles, will be used. The mission is planning to stay in the Rostov region for at least three months,” he said.

Three OSCE observers were in the region from July 16 to July 19. They visited several towns and areas to study variants for deploying the headquarters. The delegates prepared a report that had been submitted to OSCE ambassadors from 57 countries.

According to the emergency department for Rostov Region, the number of Ukrainian refugees in the region exceeded 35,000.
