VIENNA, July 18. /ITAR-TASS/. US accuses Russia and militia (of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic) of the (Malaysian) Boeing crash without taking a single effort to look into the facts behind the incident, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday.

"Wednesday's statements of the White House press secretary and remarks from anonymous representatives of the US Administration, the media outlets are citing, testify to the persistence of deep political aberration of Washington's perception of developments in Ukraine," Ryabkov said.

The Boeing 777 that was performing a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed on the territory of the much-troubled east-Ukrainian Donetsk region, some 50 kilometers away from the Ukrainian-Russia border. All the 283 passengers and a fifteen-strong crew were killed.

Sanctions against Russia

Russia is not adjusting its policy under the impact of US sanctions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday.

“I do not want to return to this issue and discuss with what and how we are going to retaliate,” Ryabkov said.

“Decisions are being taken day by day and month by month. Far from everything can be seen; not everything is lying on the surface. But those to whom we send our replies will certainly sense and take note of them,” Ryabkov stressed.

"We do not really believe in the effectiveness of such methods because we are not adjusting our policy under the impact of various sanctions,” the Russian diplomat said.
