MOSCOW, July 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich has denied reports that Russia could conduct a peacekeeping operation in Ukraine.
“These reports have been denied at the highest level. The reports have been especially circulated by anyone who seeks to get Russia’s response to the events in Ukraine,” tLukashevich said.
“We support the actions taken by the OSCE Mission. It really works. We back its steps that were coordinated by the Russian, German, French and Ukrainian leaders. These steps prove that Russia will allow the presence of Ukrainian border guard monitors and OSCE observers at Russian checkpoints,” he said.
