SIMFEROPOL, July 07. /ITAR-TASS/. The five-year ban on entering Russia for head of Crimea Tatar people’s Majlis Refat Chubarov is connected with his actions to inflame ethnic strife in Crimea, Acting Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov said on Monday.

“Everybody trying today to sow ethnic strife in the Republic of Crimea should be isolated either way,” Aksenov told reporters. “These issues are very sensitive in Crimea.”

“Everybody, who attempts people of different confessions collide, will not be in the territory of Crimea,” he said. “Adequate measures will be taken towards everybody.”

The information Chubarov is barred from entering Russia for five years was published on Saturday, July 5. He could not cross the Russia-Ukraine border on the way back from a meeting of the Crimea Tatar people’s Majlis, which was organized in Ukraine’s Herson region. The event took place in Ukraine as back in May the Russian authorities closed entrance to Russia for a leader of Crimean Tatars - Mustafa Dzhemilev.
