Youngest Ukrainian refugee brought to southern Russia in moderately grave condition

A young mother with her 15-day-old baby daughter arrived in the city of Kamyshin from southern Russia’s Rostov-on-Don Region together with 150 refugees

VOLGOGRAD, July 04. /ITAR-TASS/. The youngest refugee from southeast Ukraine was brought together with her mother to the children’s hospital in the city of Kamyshin in southern Russia’s Volgograd Region. Girl named Ulyana who was born just 15 days ago in the town of Krasnodon in Luhansk People’s Republic is in moderately severe condition, according to Tatiana Starkova, Deputy Physician-in-Chief of the Newborn Pathology department at Kamyshin city children’s hospital.

Representative of Kamyshin city legislature Tatiana Stuzhik told ITAR-TASS: “The newborn is in moderately grave condition. Probably she has lost some weight due to delivery,” the doctor noted, adding that “Now she was brought to a separate ward together with her 24-year-old mother. The girl is undergoing a needed treatment course for soonest recovery.”
