Over 100,000 Ukrainians request consultation on long-term stay in Russia

MOSCOW, July 02. /ITAR-TASS/. More than 100,000 Ukrainians have requested consultation on the conditions of long-term stay in Russia and over 14,000 have applied for the status of refugee or for temporary asylum, the Federal Migration Service said on Wednesday, July 2.
“More than 100,000 citizens of Ukraine have requested consultation on the conditions of long-term stay in Russia which is not connected with employment, over 12,000 citizens of Ukraine have applied for participation in the state program of resettlement of compatriots, and more than 14,000 citizens of Ukraine have filed documents for temporary asylum or the status of refugee,” it said.
