Moscow preparing for tripartite consultations on EU-Ukrainian deal
The tripartite ministerial consultations are expected to be held in the middle of July
MOSCOW, June 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow is seriously preparing for tripartite consultations on the EU-Ukraine association agreement, the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
The tripartite ministerial consultations are expected to be held in the middle of July, according to the ministry.
“Russia expects European partners to take a constructive and responsible approach that would help remove Russia’s real concerns over the EU-Ukraine association agreement,” it adds.
Meanwhile, the Russian diplomatic service noted that Moscow expects from its European partners a responsible and constructive approach that would contribute to defusing Russia’s questions over the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
“Over recent several months, Western and Ukrainian partners have talked about a possibility to hold substantial consultations with the participation of all parties concerned. They assured us that the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement will come into effect soon. Now we hear Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko say Kiev will ratify the agreement within the shortest period of time,” the ministry says.
