YEREVAN, June 23. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and Armenia are strategic allies in many fields, including within integration processes on the Eurasian space, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
“We exchange visits regularly and meet in Moscow and other capitals. This is normal practice for all states - allies and strategic partners on the bilateral level, in international structures, within the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organisation), the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States])” Lavrov said at talks with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian on Monday.
“Today we’ll discuss a wide range of issues. We meet often and our meetings are always substantial,” he said.
“Now we intend to discuss many bilateral, regional and international issues. The priority is that we’ll discuss the agreements, reached by our presidents,” Lavrov said.
