MOSCOW, June 20, 22:03 /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko’s statement on ceasefire more looks like an ultimatum to Ukraine’s Southeast, the Russian presidential press service told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“In the current situation, the Russian side should thoroughly analyze the text of a relevant decision by the Ukrainian president and the procedure of its implementation,” the press service said.
“A primary analysis unfortunately shows that this is not an invitation to peace and talks but an ultimatum to Ukraine’s Southeastern militiamen to lay down arms,” it said.
“The key element is yet lacking - a proposal to start talks,” the Kremlin stated.
