KIEV, June 18./ITAR-TASS/. "The Russian embassy in Kiev has been working in a regime prompted by the June 14 attack on the embassy which might be repeated," spokesman for the Russian embassy Oleg Grishin told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday.

After the atrocities committed by the Ukrainian radicals on June 14 the embassy building has been cordoned off by militia. Now the embassy has been calculating damages caused by the assaulters, he said.

A peaceful act declared outside the Russian embassy on June 14 has turned into an act of vandalism by night. The facade of the embassy building was smeared all over with broken eggs and emerald green anti-septic stuff, the embassy cars were overturned and taken to pieces, and plenty of explosive stuff were scattered on the adjoining territory.

Workers of Ukrainian law enforcement bodies had been watching the acts of violence from the windows of two riot police vans parked nearby, but made no effective efforts to cut short the violent acts staged by the radicals.

The information about the damages caused to the embassy, including broken window frames and smashed out window glass, smeared embassy walls and broken embassy cars, has been put down in a uniform Register of pre-trial investigations into acts qualified as hooliganism.

Although Kiev militia detained three particular dangerous assaulters, they were bailed out on June 16 by someone who gave their "personal guarantees".
