Dmitry Medvedev expresses condolences on the death of VGTRK journalists near Luhansk
"The profession of journalist gets dangerous," the head of government emphasized
MOSCOW, June 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has expressed condolences on the death of VGTRK journalists near Luhansk, pointing out that the tragedy has culprits.
"Russian journalist Igor Kornelyuk and video engineer Anton Voloshin, who worked for the VGTRK ( All-Russia Television and Radio Network), were killed in Ukraine. I offer heart-felt condolences to their relatives, next-of-kin, and colleagues," Medvedev wrote in his page in Facebook.
"The profession of journalist gets dangerous," the Head of Government emphasized. "When reporters find themselves under mortar shelling and get killed, such a tragedy has those guilty of it".
"Those in neighboring Ukraine, who refer to themselves as authorities, are responsible for the situation there," Medvedev added.
