MOSCOW, June 17. /ITAR-TASS/. The delegation of the Moscow Union of Journalists will go to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) after June 20 to voice their statements over security of Russian media people in Ukraine, head of the Moscow Union of Journalists Pavel Gusev told ITAR-TASS on Tuesday.

“The delegation is being formed, but we already have an invitation from there,” Gusev said. He added that several very tough measures are needed for protection of Russian journalists at the level of authorities and public organizations.

“What is happening in Ukraine looks like African rules where human rights and rights of journalists are violated,” Gusev said, adding that “It is needed to make statements to this effect in European structures which protect human rights.”

Russia’s central television VGTRK special correspondent Igor Kornelyuk was heavily wounded in the shelling near the eastern Ukrainian city of Luhansk and died at hospital later on Tuesday. The fate of sound engineer Anton Voloshin working with him is unclear yet.
