BELGRADE, June 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia expects that a new document elaborating the basic principles will be adopted at the time of Serbia’s presidency of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after talks with his Serbian counterpart, Ivica Dacic, on Tuesday.

The so-called Helsinki plus 40 document is devoted to the organization’s 40th anniversary in 2015.

Lavrov expressed hope the document would elaborate the principles declared at the time of OSCE establishment, primarily common security, inadmissibility of strengthening one’s own security at the cost of others’ security, in particular the freedom of movement “declared forty years ago and still unrealized in Europe” and harmonization of integration processes in Eurasia and Europe.

Lavrov confirmed Russia’s support for Serbia’s stance in asserting its rights and interests in Kosovo.
