MOSCOW, June 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Cherry-sized hail has hit Moscow’s south-east, the witnesses said on Saturday.

Showers dumped the city streets that had been melting in an outrageous heat-wave with temperatures setting record for this time of the year in the Russian capital. Residents are taking off their footwear and walking knee-deep across the puddles.

The drivers, though, are trying to hide their vehicles from hail under the trees.
