MOSCOW, May 22. /ITAR-TASS/. Australia’s sanctions against Russia will not be unanswered, the Russian Foreign Ministry pledged on Thursday.

“We have been repeatedly saying that Russia does not accept attempts to speak to it in the language of sanctions,” the ministry said. “Obviously, these sanctions will not be left unanswered. Having opted for an openly anti-Russian policy and circulating accusations, which have nothing to do with the real state of things, Tony Abbott's Cabinet should be aware that it undertakes the entire responsibility for the damage it incurs to the Russian-Australian relations.”
