Rostec creates new automated control system holding

MOSCOW, April 29. /ITAR-TASS/. A new holding, named United Instrument-Making Corporation that will be engaged in the creation of automated control systems (ACS) and communications equipment has been created within the State Corporation Rostec, Alexander Yakunin, director of the new structure, said on Tuesday. The holding comprises the Sozvezdiye (Voronezh) and Vega (Moscow) concerns, the company Control Systems (Moscow) and the Central Scientific Research Institute of Economics, Informatics and Management Systems (TsNII EISU, Moscow). The inclusion of enterprises in Rostec will be completed by 2015. The companies’ reorganisation will be completed by 2017-2018.

The principal directions of the holding’s activity is the development and serial production of ACS for the Russian armed forces, communications systems, radioelectronic warfare, radio detection and ranging, patrol aircraft systems. The holding will be engaged in the development of robotics technology and the single communications system for the command of the armed forces.
