On April 29, a night rehearsal of the Victory Day military parade took place in Moscow. Military machines and marching servicemen moved along Tverskaya street and further to Red Square, where the rehearsal took place being part of large-scale preparations for the Victory Day parade which will take place May 9. The next parade rehearsals in Moscow are to be held on May 5 and 7.

Earlier, on Monday, April 28, a training session of Russian military aviation took place at the Alabino testing range in Moscow Region. 69 planes and helicopters are expected to fly over Red Square on Victory Day.
