MOSCOW, April 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow is indignant over a growing number of incidents involving Russian reporters in Ukraine and over the fact that international agencies and the human rights community continue turning a blind eye to them, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

“We’re compelled once again to call the attention of Ms. Dunja Mijatovic, the representative of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe for freedom of the media, to the importance of offering prompt and nonselective reactions to the mass repressions against journalists, which go hand-in-hand with the military operations conducted by the Kiev regime in Eastern Ukraine,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier on Friday, Russia’s LifeNews TV channel was detained in Ukraine. One of the eyewitnesses told the TV channel that “gunmen put the journalists on their knees and then took them away”.

Later it was reported that Russian journalist Yulia Pustoplesnova and cameraman Mikhail Pudovkin of LifeNews television channel were deported from Ukraine and are now in Russia.
