Vessels up to 300 metres long and 50 metres wide can be built already at the Zaliv shipyard
MOSCOW, April 25./Itar-Tass/. Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade is developing a programme to place construction orders at Crimean shipyards, standing idle or working at low capacity.
Proposals under consideration include orders to build tankers to carry liquefied gas from Russian Arctic fields, an initiative under discussion with the Sovkomflot company, Gazprom and NOVATEK. Vessels up to 300 metres long and 50 metres wide can be built already at the Zaliv shipyard, the ministry says.
Other yards assessed ready to take orders included Feodosia-based More (Sea), Sevastopol Marine Plant and the Marine Industrial Complex.
