Meanwhile, there are no current plans to reduce flights to Ukraine

MOSCOW, April 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Thirty-three passengers of Russian airline Aeroflot have been denied entry to Ukraine following new border restrictions announced by the country’s authorities, the airline told ITAR-TASS on Friday.

Aeroflot informed its customers on Thursday about tough restrictions the incumbent Ukrainian authorities have imposed regarding entry to Ukraine by Russian citizens. The restrictions concern male travelers aged between 16 and 60, with the same restrictions for citizens of Ukraine registered in Crimea and in the federal city of Sevastopol, newly integrated into Russia.

The company recommended that such passengers cancel travel plans to Ukraine and promised to refund the airfare for tickets from Moscow to Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkov and Odessa without penalties.

Aeroflot said some refunds had been made. Meanwhile, there are no current plans to reduce flights to Ukraine.
