MOSCOW, April 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a live Q&A session on Thursday that NATO Chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen, when he had been Danish prime minister, once recorded a private conversation with Putin and then published it without authorization.

The incident could have occurred in 2001-2009, when Rasmussen held the post of Denmark’s premier.

“At one of the meetings, when he was Danish prime minister… it emerged that he took a recorder with him, secretly recorded our conversation and then published it in the press,” Putin said.

“I couldn’t believe my ears and eyes — it’s nonsense!” the Russian president said.

“What trust can there be after such incidents?” Putin asked.
