MOSCOW, April 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Friday will hold another meeting on socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, the government’s press service reported.

“Among the main items on the agenda are issues of increasing retirement pensions and wages of the public sector employees, applying of measures to ensure stable functioning of the banking, tax and payment and settlement systems, ensure reliable power supply and prospective development of the electrical energy industry, stable functioning of wire and mobile telephony,” the Cabinet said.

Taking part in the meeting will be First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, deputy prime ministers Dmitry Kozak, Olga Golodets, Arkady Dvorkovich, presidential aide Andrei Belousov, Minister of Crimean Affairs Oleg Savelyev, Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov, Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Maxim Topilin and Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach.

Such meetings have already become traditional. Thus, the first of them was held March 24 and focused on the first priority measures for the development of two new Russian constituent entities. The second meeting was held in Simferopol on March 31. Then, the Russian prime minister dwelt on each aspect of the region’s development in detail and announced the establishment of a new ministry — of Crimean affairs.
