Russia does not intend to introduce any reciprocal sanctions against the West in the context of Ukrainian crisis, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said at the international East Forum in Berlin on Thursday. The meeting participants discuss key issues of trade and economic cooperation in Europe, the creation of a stable model of interaction between integration coalitions.
“Sanctions will harm all countries,” Shuvalov said. “We are not going to introduce response sanctions. Russia does not have such an agenda.”
At the same time, “it is clear that we will have to take relevant actions in order to protect our economy,” the Russian first deputy PM said.
