“I would like to say Russia continues persistent efforts to prevent loose interpretations of international law, unilateral sanctions bypassing UN Security Council and double standards,” Lavrov says
MOSCOW, April 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Unilateral actions bypassing the UN Security Council undermine global solidarity, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.
“The world community’s priority is to exert efforts aimed at fighting real threats,” Lavrov said at a meeting with Zimbabwean counterpart Simbarashe Mumbengegwi on Monday.
“I would like to say Russia continues persistent efforts to prevent loose interpretations of international law, unilateral sanctions bypassing the UN Security Council and double standards,” he said.
Russia will continue pursuing this policy, Lavrov said.
