President Yanukovych hopes to move to Moscow
Yanukovych said that his elder son also lives in Russia
ROSTOV-ON-DON, April 02. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who was forced to leave Ukraine as a result of a state coup, said in an interview with the US Associated Press news agency and Russian NTV television that he currently lives in the Rostov region.
After Yanukovych was forced to leave Ukraine he first stayed in the Rostov region for a short while, and then moved to Moscow to meet President Putin, and then stayed in Moscow for some time, he said.
"Now I am back in the Rostov region, but I am planning to move to Moscow in a short while because I should meet people. Many of them think it is inconvenient to meet me in the Rostov region; I do not have proper conditions in the Rostov region to meet people I need," Yanukovych explained.
Yanukovych said that his elder son also lives in Russia.
