Donavia to launch daily flights to Crimea’s capital Simferopol

ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 25. /ITAR-TASS/. The largest air carrier in southern Russia, Donavia, will carry out daily flights between Rostov-on-Don and Simferopol, the capital of Crimea, as of April 26, the head of the air company’s public relations department says.
“The flights’ schedule will be floating different flight time for different days. We hope these flights will be on demand among residents of southern Russia,” Inna Churlyaeva told Itar-Tass on Tuesday, adding that flights would be carried out by Airbus A319.
The prices of plane tickets will be announced soon.
Donavia, a subsidiary of Russia’s flag carrier Aeroflot, makes regular and charter flights to Russian and foreign cities from airports of Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, Mineralnye Vody, Sochi and Krasnodar.
The air carrier’s fleet consists of nine A319 planes and one Boeing 737-400.
